The Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) is closing down and published its "final" official quarterly audit report.
Here are two articles on it - both based upon an AP article by Robert Burns.

Soon, you should be able to find their final report on their website at www.SIGIR.mil, but it was not there today, July 15, 2012.
Thanks go to everyone at SIGIR for reducing fraud & corruption in US funded foreign aid in Iraq, and hopefully their documented recommendations will be used by the GAO, Inspector Generals, and other oversight departments and committeess to reduce such fiascos in the future.
