Volusia county tax policy outdated: Our county is falling further behind the times by failing to deal with outdated tax policy - OrlandoSentinel.com.

This article is about the HIGH hospital district millage rates in Volusia County, which the author claims is harming Volusia County (FL) ability to compete in attracting new businesses.

Lake County also has a Hospital Tax District tax we have written about, and it adds 1 mill to property taxes, also harming business competitiveness here.
